Positions Available
LEAD TECHNICIAN
Three full time positions. Typical hours are 07:30 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:30. Some travel and over night stays will be required. Persons applying must have outstanding communication skills, an aggressive work ethic and an excellent professional customer care attitude. An Alabama AESBL or NICET Level I thru IV in Fire Alarm Systems is a plus. 401(k), BCBS Health, Dental, and Life Insurance benefits available. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Commercial applicants should have 3+ years of experience in the alarm and detection industry and a proven track record in service and installation of Intrusion, Access Control, CCTV, and Fire Alarm Systems for commercial, industrial, and correctional applications. Experience with Notifier, Gamewell, or Faraday a plus.
Residential applicants should have experience with burglar alarm, CCTV, satellite systems, distributed sound, and home theatre. Residential electricians with experience in new construction, remodeling, and retrofit installation are encouraged to apply.
FIRST ALERT RESIDENTIAL SALES
This is a full time position. Previous experience in our industry is not necessary. This job involves selling life safety equipment and monitoring to residential customers. There is warm calling and cold calling involved. Warm calling will be done with a lead list provided by the company. Cold calling will involve developing a referral network and working neighborhoods. This position will also handle the call in and walk in customers. You must be willing to work evenings if the situation calls for it. Calling at the customer’s residence may occur from time to time. Training is available for people new to our industry.
Compensation:
$700 per month base pay
$100 per system sold with 10% commission on additional equipment sold above the base package
$300 per month car allowance
$100 per month gas allowance
$50 per month cell phone allowance

We expect this position to be able to earn $35,000-$45,000 per year in total compensation
COMMERCIAL SALES
This position will require previous experience in our field. This is a full time position. This job involves selling life safety equipment, CCTV, Access Control, Paging/intercom systems and monitoring to commercial customers. There is warm calling and cold calling involved. Warm calling will be done with a lead list provided by the company. Cold calling will involve developing a referral network and calling on Electrical Contractors, Engineers, Architects, and others involved in commercial construction.
Compensation:
$1,667 per month base pay
5% commission on all sales
$350 per month car allowance
$100 per month gas allowance
$50 per month cell phone allowance
401(k), BCBS Health, Dental, and Life Insurance benefits are available
We expect this position to earn between 45,000-$55,000 per year in total compensation
